Smt. Vandana Bhagavatula, Shareholder Director, Punjab National Bank

Smt. Vandana Bhagavatula was deemed elected as Shareholder Director on the Board of the Bank with effect from 29.08.2025.

Smt. Bhagavatula, is a Bachelor of Commerce, Chartered Accountant (FCA) and holds a Diploma in Information Systems Audit (DISA). She has knowledge/ experience in Accountancy, Banking, Finance and Audit.

She has 25 years of experience and has worked in various organizations at Senior Executive positions. At present, she is an Honorary Advisor to Dr. S. Natarajan’s - Sundaram Natarajan Blind Free India Foundation.

She was Non-Executive Independent Woman Director at Shakti Pumps (India) Limited from March 2025 to 6th Dec. 2025. She was also engaged with HDFC Bank Limited as Vice President, Compliance from May 2022 to September 2022. Prior to this, she was a Director at Aneja Associates from 2019 till May 2022 and was responsible for an entire gamut of audit activities for banking, financial services and software & technologies audit.

Earlier in her career, she was the proprietress at VB & Associates, Chartered Accountants, Mumbai. Her responsibilities included audit, tax planning, due diligence and other ancillary matters.
